Hosted by Aurora Fire Rescue, the Aurora Police Department, the Aurora Rotary Club, and the Smoky Hill Rotary Club, this free Public Safety Field Day is designed to provide hands-on learning experiences for families and children while promoting fire prevention and community safety.
This interactive event offers a unique opportunity to:
- Watch live Fire Suppression, K-9, and SWAT Team demonstrations
- Experience thermal imaging technology
- See a fire investigation demonstration
- Participate in hose play and spray
- Climb inside a fire engine and ambulance
- Visit the Police Emergency Response Trailer
- Enjoy a fun firefighter race for kids under 10
- And much more!
The event is free and open to the public (with completion of a safety waiver). Donations are appreciated to support the purchase of a Mobile Fire Safety Trailer, which will be used in schools and throughout the community to teach children how to safely escape home fires and practice fire prevention strategies.
Join us for a day of education, excitement, and community partnership and help support the future of fire safety education in Aurora!
