Join the Aurora Fire Foundation for an exclusive Denver-area premiere of After the Tones, a powerful documentary being shown locally before its national release.
This special evening is dedicated to our retired fire and police personnel — honoring your service while opening the door to important conversations that continue long after the tones go quiet. Active-duty members, spouses, families, and community supporters are welcome to attend.
After the Tones is a 43-minute documentary that explores the realities first responders face when transitioning into retirement. Through in-depth interviews with retired and active-duty first responders, along with professionals who work closely with them, the film addresses critical topics including retirement decisions, cumulative trauma and PTS, identity shifts, suicidal ideation, and the search for renewed purpose after public service. The film also provides encouragement and access to valuable resources designed specifically for first responder families.
Following the screening, guests will be invited to participate in a panel discussion reflecting on the film’s message and its impact on our public safety community.
Proceeds from this event directly support the Aurora Fire Foundation’s mission to serve and strengthen our fire families.
Early registration is encouraged — this exclusive preview is expected to sell out.
